28-Year-Old Arthur Fred Wyatt III Of Overland Park Pleaded Guilty Thursday

On Thursday, 28-year-old Arthur Fred Wyatt III pleaded guilty to attempted robbery outside a Walmart in Kansas that left a good Samaritan with severe injuries and a second suspect dead.

On 11th of September, Wyatt and another man attacked a woman while she was busy putting her child in a safety seat in the parking lot of a Walmart in Shawnee; according to investigators.

A person present at the crime scene intervened and the criminals shot him several times.

John Simmons, one of the attackers, was shot and killed by a good Samaritan.

He pleaded guilty to charges that included second-degree attempted murder. He was also charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Wyatt is summoned to court on the 2nd of November for his sentencing.
