22-year-old Jason Gregory Johnson has been sentenced to serve more than five years in jail as he was involved in human trafficking in Omaha. OVERLAND - On Friday, 15-year-old DaMontez fatally shot himself in the chest as he was attempting to take a selfie when he accidently pressed the trigger of the gun. KANSAS CITY, KAN. - On Thursday 12 February, 227 victims of violent crimes in Kansas received financial help from the Kansas Crime Victims Compensation Board at its February meeting, according to Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt.
