Man Charged With Robbing An Overland Park Released From Jail

41-year-old Ryan Michael Cothern, who was charged with robbing an Overland Park Bank Tuesday, owes more than $14,000. Cothern was charged Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kansas. According to court records, Cothern was recently released from jail in another case and was charged with holding up the U.S. Bank at 9900 West 87th Street shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday. Kansas Cattle Buyer Cleared Of Criminal Charges

WICHITA – Randall D. Patterson, a Kansas cattle buyer, was accused of wire fraud for faxing invoices to JBS Five Rivers Cattle Feeding that showed fake high rate paid for the cattle. The charges were dismissed by the federal judge as the prosecutors didn’t have enough proof in court against the cattle buyer to show the judge.
