Commerce bank in Overland Park robbed


OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – On Friday morning, a bank in Overland Park was robbed and the law enforcement authorities are searching for the man.

At about 11:30 a.m., the man went into the Commerce Bank at 9501 Antioch Road and gave a note to the teller demanding money.

The description of the man is that he is almost 5-foot-8 with a slender built. The FBI said that he was wearing an oversized white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and a light colored Kansas City Royals baseball cap.

Any individual with information of the suspect of the robbery is asked to call the police.
