Kansas Cattle Buyer Cleared Of Criminal Charges
WICHITA – Randall D. Patterson, a Kansas cattle buyer, was accused of wire fraud for faxing invoices to JBS Five Rivers Cattle Feeding that showed fake high rate paid for the cattle.
The charges were dismissed by the federal judge as the prosecutors didn’t have enough proof in court against the cattle buyer to show the judge.
On Friday, defense’s motion was granted by U.S. District Judge J. Thomas Marten.
In a statement, Defense attorney Kepler Funk said that he is glad that his client was proven innocent as he was not wrong and didn’t do fraud.
