Kansas City Man Charged With Setting Fire That Destroyed Overland Park Apartment Building

On 14th of May, 38-year-old Ronald Levon Buchanan set an Overland Park apartment building on fire for which he has been arrested.

The location of the incident was the Spring Hill Apartments in the 8800 block of West 121st Terrace.

2 individuals, from which one was a baby, were harmed by the fire. A pet dog also lost its life.

His charges included 10 counts of aggravated arson and one count of cruelty to animals.

On Friday, Buchanan appeared before a judge in Johnson County District Court.

His bond was set at $50,000 and a request to reduce the amount was rejected.

He is again summoned to court on 16th of August.
