OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The brother of a 20-year-old victim who died in a hit-and-run accident is requesting the driver to come forward. On Monday, images of a dark-colored Honda Odyssey were made public by the Overland Park Police which was believed to be involved in an accident that killed 2 individuals on Saturday. 20-year-old Samuel Siebuhr was behind the wheel of the gold Toyota Avalon which was hit by a van. Kansas City Man Robs Bank After He Was Left With $14,000 Debt From A DUI

41-year-old Ryan Michael Cothern decided to rob an Overland Park bank last October as he had to pay a $14,000 debt from a DUI. He succeeded in getting just $615 before he was taken into custody. He entered in the bank and said to a bank teller to put the 100s, 50s and 20s in the bag by typing it on his cell phone. Overland Park Preacher Accused Of A Series Of Crimes

OVERLAND PARK, KS – Bruce Byrd, who was accused of targeting dental offices in Johnson County and other places for robbery, has been taken into custody by the cops. He was wanted by the police for targeting the dental offices of Dr. Frank Wolfson at College and Quivira. He walked through the door of the dental office and stole credit cards from the doctor’s wallet. On Wednesday, he appeared before the judge for multiple charges including identity theft and burglary. 59-Year-Old Overland Park Man Accused Of Child Rape

Gabriel Gomez Lara, 59, has been charged with sexually assaulting 2 kids over a period of more than 7 years. His charges included: 1 count of child rape 4 counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child The ages of the victims were less than 14-year-old and 16-year-old when they were raped. The rape incidents happened between January 2011 and February 2018. On Friday, Lara was taken into custody and his bond was set at $500,000. He was summoned to court on Monday. KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Friday night, a shot was fired across the street from Kansas Congressman Kevin Yoder’s home. The case didn’t involve Yoder and no family member was present at his home when the incident happened. Yoder’s neighbor and a contractor were involved in the case as they were arguing over a cost issue for air conditioning repair. According to the police, 43-year-old Charles Webb, who was shot by the cops on Friday, died after a few hours. The police were reported about shots fired in the parking lot and courtyard of an apartment complex in the area of West 79th and Grant streets. Overland Park Teenager Charged With Arson After Firing A Flare Gun

18-year-old Luis Fernando Samano has been charged with firing a flare gun in multiple apartments and none of them were empty. He fired the flares into 4 apartments from which 2 apartments were in the 10200 block of West 81st Terrace and the other 2 were in the 8000 and 8100 blocks of Perry Street. One apartment caught fire due to the flare, but it was immediately extinguished by the firefighters. No individual sustained injuries by the flare gun firing. On 14th of May, 38-year-old Ronald Levon Buchanan set an Overland Park apartment building on fire for which he has been arrested. The location of the incident was the Spring Hill Apartments in the 8800 block of West 121st Terrace. 2 individuals, from which one was a baby, were harmed by the fire. A pet dog also lost its life.
